Christmas time is the most magical time of the year! From all the lights and decorations, gift-giving, lots of baking for the family, love and laughter in the air, folks saying “happy holidays” to those they know or strangers, and did we mention all the presents?
VacationLand Federal Credit Union values you as a member so much, that we’re hoping you share the joy of your credit union with your friends and families. Then, we’ll magically deposit $25 into your credit union account for every new member you send our way (limit 4 annually, please). It’s our present to you!
This year’s festive “Refer-A-Friend” program is wrapped in bows and designed to reward you for each new “potential” member you refer. You can receive a $25 dividend for each new referral. It’s as easy as 1-2-3:
- Pick up a referral card(s) at your local VLFCU branch, or click here to download a card and print it out.
- Fill out your name on the card in the designated field, give it to a friend, family member, or acquaintance (18 years of age or older) who doesn’t currently have a relationship with us, and encourage them to open an account.
- The individual will need to open a share account (savings), AND either open a checking account or obtain a loan (auto, mortgage, personal, etc.), AND give the referral card to our friendly Member Relations Representative who will assist them.
Once the new member has completed the account opening process, our representative will fill out the rest of the information on the referral card and forward it to our hard-working little elves for processing. After 30 days, VLFCU will confirm that both your (the referring member’s) and the new member’s accounts are in good standing, at which time Santa will deliver a $25 dividend to your account to be posted by the 45th day of the new account being opened. Both you and your referred party must be members on our “nice” list at the time the reward is paid. Due to privacy regulations, we will be unable to tell you if your Secret Santa has named you as their referral, or whether an account has been opened; however, the crediting of the $25 to your account will imply that an account has been opened for your newly referred member. We will also be limiting rewards to only four in a 12-month period, per member.
