VLFCU is aware of fraudsters making calls from our toll free number: 1-800-691-9299.  These calls are being made to both VLFCU members and non-members.  The callers are attempting to obtain personal information including questions to confirm an “online banking login” or a “transaction” on an account.  Even though the fraudsters are not identifying themselves as being associated with VacationLand, the caller ID is showing up as our 800 number.

If you receive one of these calls, please be advised this is not legitimate, and it is an attempt by fraudsters to obtain your personal information. Financial institutions will never ask for complete personal information such as a full social security number, debit or credit card number, or account number.  Financial institutions and fraud services will verify your identity by asking for partial personal information.

If you provided personal information, please call our Compliance department for assistance.  If you are not a VLFCU member, please contact your financial institution.  As a reminder to everyone, please make sure that all of your contact information is current with your financial institution.
