Multifactor Authentication: Coming Soon to Online/Mobile App Banking
Update your personal information prior to the implementation to avoid interruption to your online banking and mobile app services.
To enhance the security of your online account access, we will soon be implementing Multifactor Authentication (MFA) for online/mobile app banking.
MFA adds an extra layer of protection, making it more difficult for unauthorized persons to access your account. When you sign in using your username, password, and security question, you will be prompted to enter a verification code. You will choose to receive the code by email or text to a mobile phone number. MFA also applies to members using the mobile app with Face ID, PIN, and Voice Authentication. Please note, MFA will remember your device for 90 days after authenticating.
In addition to signing into online/mobile app banking, you will be required to enter a verification code to access the Pay Anyone P2P service, and to update personal information.
In an effort to make this implementation as seamless as possible for our members, please go to Personal Info & Settings in online/mobile app banking to review what information we have on file and make changes if needed. If your information is not current when MFA is implemented, you may not be able to access your account online or from the mobile app.
If you have any questions about the upcoming MFA implementation, or encounter difficulty updating your personal information online, please call us at: 1-800-691-9299, and we will be happy to assist you.
